Alcohol and Drug Counsellor

An alcohol and drug counsellor position is avaliable at WellTrust: Youth Alcohol & Drug Service. WellTrust are the Wellington region youth/rangatahi AOD specialists, working with young people age 10-19.  They provide an outpatient service from their premises in Hutt City, and a mobile in-school service for students at 26 secondary schools across the greater Wellington region: Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, Wainuiomata, Wellington, Porirua and Kapiti Coast.  Therefore a drivers license, and own car, is essential.

Cultural knowledge and links, particularly Māori, would be an advantage.
