Misuse of Drugs (Changes to Controlled Drugs) Order 2003 (9 April 2003)

The Health Committee has examined the Misuse of Drugs (Changes to Controlled Drugs) Order 2003 and recommends that the related notice of motion be approved.

The Misuse of Drugs (Changes to Controlled Drugs) Order 2003:

  • re-classifies methamphetamine as a Class A drug

  • classifies methcathinone as a Class B1 drug

  • classifies 4-methylthioamphetamine as a Class B2 drug

  • classifies Pemoline and Aminorex as Class C5 drugs.Â
