Kia ora koutou

Sadly, despite a measured and well considered report, the initial political reaction to the Law Commission drug law review has been poor. While Justice Minister Simon Power's declaration that there is 'not a single, solitary chance' he will be changing the status quo is disappointing, by no means does this mean its game over.

We must recall the old principle that in order to get any significant traction with political parties, it is essential that politicians are made aware of high level of support for change.
