NCETA has produced several workplace resources that are designed to assist workplaces respond to alcohol and other drug-related harm. An occupational health and safety approach is adopted that incorporates both the prevention and treatment of alcohol and other drug issues in the workplace.

Australia's Alcohol and Work information clearinghouse
Alcohol is the most widely used recreational drug in Australia. One in two Australians aged 14 years and over consume alcohol every week and almost half the respondents to one national survey thought that getting drunk is an acceptable part of the Australian way of life.
The alcohol and work project has been set up under the Victorian Government Alcohol Strategy and is funded by the Alcohol Education and Rehabilitation Foundation Ltd. (AER).
The goals of the alcohol and work project and website are to:
- provide people with information and advice to prevent and resolve alcohol-related problems at work in ways that are fair, effective and ethical
- use the workplace as an environment to raise awareness about alcohol issues and to help to reduce alcohol-related harm in the community
- promote the use of existing alcohol and drug treatment services in Victoria.
