Donation Policy

We appreciate each and every contribution from our wonderful supporters. Thanks for chipping in.

The donations that we receive will be used for activities that help the NZ Drug Foundation to promote a health-based approach to drugs. This will include posters, billboards, and other resources, communications technology, and organising staff.

The Drug Foundation is a registered charity (CC27025). All donations over NZD $5.00 are eligible for a tax rebate issued by IRD.

At this stage donations are only accepted by way of one-off or repeating credit card payments. If you would like to give in another way, please get in touch.

We do not store your financial or credit card details. Secure donation forms are provided by Raisely, and Stripe is used to process credit card payments.

We have a refund policy in case you make a donation in error. If you contact us within seven days of making the donation, we will return it to you within 40 days without charge.

The final decision on whether we accept a donation rests with the Drug Foundation. We reserve the right not to accept donations from organisations or individuals whose interests are incompatible with our public health goals. This could include partisan political interests, religious bodies and any organisation whose activities are inconsistent with our stated values and objectives.
