Tell MPs you want improved access to medicinal cannabis

The way New Zealand regulates access to medicinal cannabis is going to change. Parliament has just debated two medicinal cannabis Bills, though only one survived its first reading.

Many people were disappointed and frustrated last week, when the Government voted against the Bill put forward by Green MP Chlöe Swarbrick, which would have allowed people to grow their own. We will be writing a strong submission on the proposed Misuse of Drugs (Medicinal Cannabis) Amendment Bill, and if you want to see compassionate access to medicinal cannabis then you should do the same. See below for information about workshops on how to make an effective submission.

We will be holding some workshops in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch over the next few weeks to discuss the Bill and guide people on how to make an effective submission. Register now
